When you run an assessment we process your uploaded resume and the details you provide (target role, experience level, optional LinkedIn/GitHub). From the resume we extract contact details — name, email, phone, location, and any LinkedIn/GitHub/portfolio links. If you create an account via Google, we store your name, email and profile picture.
Your resume is scored against our hiring rubric and, on paid plans, rewritten into a recruiter-grade resume and PDF. We use the data only to deliver these features to you — never to train models, and never sold or shared for advertising.
Before any text is sent to our AI providers (Anthropic and Google, acting as data processors), we scrub personally identifiable information locally — name, email, phone and profile links are replaced with neutral placeholders. The AI models never receive your real contact details; we re-insert them into the output on our side.
Data is stored in our managed database and object storage. PII-bearing records (assessments, rewrites, generated documents) automatically expire and are deleted after our retention window (90 days by default). You can delete your data at any time before then.
You have the right to access, export and delete your data. From your Dashboard you can export everything we hold about you as a JSON file, delete an individual assessment, or permanently delete your entire account and all associated data. For India (DPDP Act, 2023) and US (CCPA/CPRA) residents, these rights include access, portability and erasure.
We only process your resume after you explicitly consent at upload. You may withdraw consent by deleting your data. Continuing to use the service constitutes acceptance of this policy.
We rely on a small set of processors to deliver the service: Anthropic and Google (LLM processing of redacted text), and our managed cloud database & object storage. Each processes data only on our instructions.
